Our Story
Being away from home is stressful for your dog -- we get that. Roverwood Ranch is a place where you can leave your best friend and know they are safe, loved, happy, and well-taken care of.
Mark Higley started Roverwood Ranch in 2013 after years of dreaming, planning, and working in the industry. His enthusiasm and love for dogs was contagious! Tragically, Mark passed away six months after opening. Mark's brother, Glen, and sister-in-law, Sharon, were determined to see his dream come true. Roverwood Ranch is family-owned and operated, just like Mark had envisioned.
Since 2013, Roverwood Ranch has seen over 7,000 dogs come through their doors. Offering four indoor/outdoor play areas, dogs are separated by size and temperament to provide the best experience possible. Each group is supervised by specially trained Ranchhands to ensure the level of play is healthy, happy, and safe. Covered in a soft, squishy artificial turf, all outdoor play areas are sanitized every night to keep everything nice and clean. No mud, sticks, dust, or rocks to worry about! Enclosed with an 8-foot fence around the entire property, safety is taken seriously.
Roverwood Ranch knows you miss your little pawtner and care about their safety and happiness while you are away. We provide webcams in the play areas so you can watch them enjoy themselves from your home, office, hotel.
