Boarding at
Roverwood Ranch
We provide a safe and rip-roarin’ good time for your Pawtner while you are away. Each Ranch guest eats and sleeps in a private suite with a comfortable, raised bed when not out playing with friends.
All suites have glass fronts and solid sides. No cages or chain link here!
Lodging & Comfort
Our spacious sleeping suites are designed with your dog’s relaxation in mind, featuring tempered glass fronts and solid sides for a calm, secure feel—no chain link or cages here. Every guest enjoys a private, climate‑controlled suite with a raised bed. You’re welcome to bring personal beds, blankets, toys, or anything else that helps your dog feel at home. Families are welcome to stay together in the same suite.
Each Ranch guest enjoys their own private suite with a comfortable raised bed when they’re not out playing with friends. You’re welcome to bring your pup’s favorite toys, bedding, treats, and food so they feel right at home. If you forget their food, we’re happy to provide ours (additional charges may apply). You can also bring special bowls if you’d like, though we have plenty available here. Dogs from the same household may share a suite as long as they can eat and sleep together comfortably. We also offer extended‑stay and military discounts for overnight stays.
Overnight Stays
Chowtime
We take mealtimes very seriously at the Ranch. Every dog is fed in their own private suite (no food is ever allowed in the group play areas), followed by about an hour of rest. We keep a close eye on all boarders to make sure they’re eating well. Some dogs find boarding stressful at first, so we offer gentle encouragement by adding things like wet food, Magic Dust (freeze‑dried beef liver), chicken broth, or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese to their meals. For pups who are really struggling, we’ll sit with them and hand‑feed if necessary.

Downtime
While most dogs staying with us enjoy plenty of social time, all that fun can be exhausting! We intentionally build in downtime so your little pawtner can take a break from the excitement. Most dogs are used to lots of rest at home, so a full day of activity can be a big change! Our team watches for signs of exhaustion, stress, anxiety, or depression, and will adjust each dog’s mix of playtime, quiet time, and one‑on‑one time with a Ranchhand as needed. Individual walks, chew toys, extra cuddles, or personalized play sessions are just some of the ways we help our guests relax and recharge -- no extra charge!
Fine-print Time
All dogs staying at Roverwood Ranch must meet our vaccination requirements, be spayed or neutered, and have a suitable temperament for boarding and day play. Elderly dogs (over 12 years old) will be individually assessed to make sure boarding is a good fit for them. For safety reasons, dogs who are not ambulatory cannot be accepted. Please let us know about any significant health issues, food or environmental allergies, or medication requirements before check-in.
Group Play
Boarding dogs enjoy full access to day play at no additional charge. After a fun‑filled day with their friends, most pups are happily tired and ready to curl up and sleep without much time to miss you. You can even check in on your little Pawtner during group play using our webcams.
